Join our Creative Art Retreat in Exmoor
Get the New Year off to a colourful start!
We are delighted to be working with talented local artist Natasha Eveleigh and co-hosting her Creative Art Retreat in our Minehead cottages from Friday 26th January to Monday 29th January 2024.
Over two days and three nights, you’ll be able to let your creative juices flow with one-to-one tutoring and support to develop your painting and drawing skills. You’ll stay in luxurious accommodation with hot tubs, cosy fires and beautiful gardens. You’ll meet like-minded people, make new friends, and enjoy some lovely meals and conversations together. This friendly and safe environment suits every skill level, from absolute beginners to experts. What are you waiting for?
Whether you’re an absolute beginner or looking for inspiration – this Creative Art Retreat is perfect for you!
Natasha specialises in bright floral abstract art using a number of different mediums and has perfected many techniques that she’ll share with you to help you create beautiful, expressive artwork. On this Creative Art Retreat, you’ll learn how to paint with acrylics, watercolours and gelli printing. You’ll be able to experiment with Natasha’s favourite mediums including watercolour inks. And we will explore mindful and intuitive painting that helps ease stress and aides relaxation. At the end of the weekend, you will be able to reflect on the different approaches you’ve learnt and use the art you’ve created and seen others produce to inspire you and start you off on your own projects.
Natasha says: “I’m excited to offer this course in my coastal hometown of Minehead. I believe everyone can learn and develop their inner creative skills to paint and draw and benefit from a positive impact on physical and mental well-being. As you’ll see from my work, I’m inspired by colour and nature, particularly flowers, and so I’m hoping if the weather is kind, we can spend some time in the beautiful gardens at the gorgeous award-winning cottages that I’ve selected for your accommodation. I hope you can join us.”

“I was terrified of colour and had never painted. The acrylic course was fun and gave me the confidence to experiment with colour and different techniques. Natasha is always ready with words of encouragement and a warm smile.”
“I have been to both acrylic and watercolour classes with Natasha. Her patient and kind tuition makes the sessions so comfortable and friendly that even a complete beginner like me is inspired to do more.”
