Coronavirus and your holiday at Exmoor Character Cottages
If you’re about to holiday with us, or thinking about booking, this section contains everything you need to know about how we have responded to COVID-19 at Exmoor Character Cottages. We think it’s pretty comprehensive, but if you can’t find what you’re looking for here, please contact us with your questions: firstname.lastname@example.org
Start by looking at our infographic. This provides an at-a-glance view of all the measures we’ve implemented to ensure you and your family enjoy Happy Holidays with us:
We’ve intensified our already stringent cleaning regime. Read the measures we’ve taken in our blog here.
We have completed numerous risk assessments including those from the AA, VisitEngland and the Professional Association of Self Caterers. You can view our risk assessments online or in the Guest Book of the cottage you’re staying in. And, we hired an expert to assess all the measures we’ve taken. You can read his article here.
Back in March 2020, we introduced The Exmoor Character Cottage No Risk Protected Bookings Scheme for those guests who booked directly with us between 23rd March and 4th August 2020. This has subsequently been updated with our Protected Bookings Scheme 2 to reflect changes in Government guidance. All bookings made directly with us from 1st December 2020 are covered by this revised scheme. Find out more details about booking with us during COVID-19 in our FAQ.
Of course, we want you to enjoy the great outdoors when you stay with us. That’s why we’ve created 10 outdoor activities that be done at a social distance, why we’re leaving a free copy of our Little Book of Walks for guests staying this summer, and our handmade facemasks – courtesy of Jenny, June and Lucy.
