This was our fifth stay at The Oval. We enjoyed a Sunday stroll to Conygar Tower in Dunster. We also enjoyed visiting Minehead to walk on the beach and play in the arcade.
Dunster beach is a few minutes away in the car and me and my brother and sister found lots of pretty stones and shells.
We were lucky to see the steam train pass by in the distance. We want to Dunster Castle and played at the Packhorse playground every day. During our trip to Dunster we visited Selworthy, a National Trust village, where we had tea and cakes in the Periwinkle Tearooms – and the cakes were delicious!
Finally, we drove through Exmoor and spotted the ponies on our way back from Lynmouth!
We love staying at The Oval – it’s great for families, even if it is a bit spooky 😊
